When east Sudan protesters closed the port of Port Sudan in July 2021, the closure only lasted  approximately 45 days, but the side effects of that closure will remain many months to come. Adding much more hardships to the already struggling port. Many shipping lines delayed resumption of their business – due the political instability – till the binging of this year. Which in tern, created a huge backlog.
